I was really well impressed with Dr. Megan Marumoto’s knowledge, care, attention and bedside manner. I booked her to see my teenage kid and she was caring, attentive, dedicated, and offered a phased approach for treatment. She listened carefully to my kid, his father and myself. She took notes and her assessment seemed accurate. She was in no rush and dedicated all the necessary tine for a comprehensive evaluation, discuss treatment options and answer and answer to our questions.

Patients may expect a comprehensive assessment with evidence-based treatment focusing on nutrition and healthy lifestyle interventions as well as medication management in 20–30-minute sessions. She enjoys working collaboratively with therapists and health coaches to achieve the best outcomes. She also provides supportive therapy and other therapies when indicated.
She received her medical degree from the John A Burns School of Medicine and completed her Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Hawaii. Wishing to provide comprehensive care beyond medication management and therapy, Dr. Marumoto completed a second fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She has over 20 years of clinical experience working with military and civilian populations.

Booked appointment as per available times listed and submitted insurance info, in which appointment was fully covered. Shortly after appointment was cancelled by provider with no explanation. This provider was highly recommended and was looking forward to this appointment. Oh well.

Does not actually prescribe adhd medication despite advertising treating adhd. Do not go to this doctor expecting that type of treatment.
