It was my first virtual visit with a Primary Care doctor. I’m generally a very healthy person, and don’t need to visit a doctor frequently. But I was in need of some new labs and has some recent concerns. Any appointments in person near me for an annual physical was about a 6 month wait which is crazy. I was able to make an appointment right away and virtual is so convenient for me as I work full-time from home and have a baby. Dr. Garland listened to my concerns, and did not dismiss them like previous doctors. She was very thorough, ordering further investigative labs instead of brushing it off. This gives me such peach of mind!

What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
As a primary care physician, I enjoy getting to know my patients and partnering with them in achieving their health goals. I am passionate about health advocacy and increasing access to comprehensive healthcare. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Florida Atlantic University, completed my internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bayfront Medical Center, and finished my residency in Family Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. My educational background has strengthened my commitment to providing holistic care.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
My goal as a primary care physician is to help patients optimize their physical and mental wellness. Through shared decision-making and comprehensive patient education, I work with my patients to promote healthy lifestyle choices and improve health outcomes.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love traveling to new places, reading, and spending time outdoors with my family. I also hold a bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University, which laid the foundation for my passion for lifelong learning and patient-centered care.

My experience was wonderful! The doctor was very nice. He contacted me the day I made my appointment to let me know that he had availability that day, so I got an appointment sooner than expected, which is almost unheard of. He is also easy to contact, which is also very rare. I will definitely be going back!

This facility is run by Circle Medical (which is not disclosed anywhere on ZocDoc when booking). They do not offer a phone number or ANY customer support which is critical post-care. Despite having my health insurance information, they still sent my test orders to a lab that does not accept my insurance. There is no way to reach circle medical or this provider to re-send the labs elsewhere. Do not trust circle medical.
