Had to wait a little longer after my 12:00 appt.
which was about 30 min, no sweat though.

Dr. Schutte is AMAZING! I've worn glasses my whole life, I've seen tons of eye doctor's, and Dr. Schutte is by far the best. She's very thorough, professional, and has a great bedside manner. Not to mention the fact that she has an incredible staff who are friendly, helpful, and made me and my husband feel very at ease. My visit was an all around wonderful experience, I would DEFINITELY recommend!

Dr. Meghan Schutte is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. Prior to receiving her doctorate in Optometry she attended The University of Texas at Austin where she received a B.A. in Biology and a certification in Business Foundations. Dr. Schutte completed externships in several different modes of practice during optometry school. At the James A. Quillen VAMC in Mountain Home, TN she heightened her skills in Primary Care and Low Vision. She also gained clinical experience in Primary Care and Contact Lenses at the McCormick Vision Center in Austin,TX. In Denver, CO at Dishler Laser Institute she managed the pre and post-operative care for LASIK and PRK patients. She then went on to complete a residency in Primary Care Optometry at the Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington, KY. During the residency program she also focused on ocular disease, specialty contact lens fittings and traumatic brain injury patient care with binocular vision therapy. Dr. Schutte’s professional interests include full eye exams for all ages, contact lens fittings, and the treatment and management of ocular disease.
When not treating Austin’s eyes, Dr. Schutte enjoys camping, exploring all the trails Austin has to offer, cooking for friends and family, reading and one just might catch her singing as she drives by with her windows down.
