My passion and love for being a healthcare provider is ignited every time I see a patient display visible signs of relief that their concerns have been not only listened to but most importantly heard and understood with empathy. Guiding patients toward making the most appropriate, evidenced based medical decision for themselves is very powerful and rewarding.
The role of the primary care provider is to care for the whole patient in a manner that prioritizes both physical and mental health while recognizing and accounting for the complex social and emotional influencers of health. The primary care provider should be the patient's best advocate when it comes to all their healthcare needs and goals.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with family exploring the outdoors, hiking and running. I love the simplicity of a home cooked meal shared with family and friends where memories and laughter overflow. I love the art of writing and wish I had more free time for it.

When talking to her, I felt like I was being judged. She asked me questions as if I would tell her something other than the truth. I also was told many things that were untrue as far as state laws concerning telehealth. It shouldn’t be be advertised that they can treat mental health issues of all and specialize in things like anxiety when they are limited in treatment, and cannot fully prescribed all medications.
