The office sent me 193749 emails and text messages before the appointment. I get it, I need to fill out forms and pay ahead of time. The girl who called me sounded like she was depressed herself. The provider was a great listener and I felt comfortable talking to her, but the hassle of the front office isn’t helpful to anxious people. Something to keep I mind for whoever is doing the hiring and training. Listen to their calls. They need coaching.

May Wang is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin, she obtained her master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. May has several years of mental health experience working with a variety of patients in different settings. Her clinical background includes delivering psychiatric services to underserved communities in state institutions, as well as caring for adults with mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders. In addition to providing bedside care, she has worked in the admissions department of an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Her professional communication and customer service skills add strength to her role as a mental health provider. Emphasizing a non-judgmental and patient-focused approach, she consistently prioritizes and meets the needs of her patients. Her goal is to promote excellent customer satisfaction while offering safe, individualized, and compassionate care.

Got ~15 texts and document requests leading up to call, which was super annoying, and then I go to the appointment and it was cancelled last minute. Wouldn’t recommend this office.

I had a good appointment, waited less than 5 minutes for my appointment. I wish they had let me know I needed to have a Psychological assessment on file before they could prescribe me medication as I could have gotten that done before the appointment and not had to go twice but other than that it was a great experience.
