Melissa Adrouny is an obstetrician and gynecologist who is proud to call herself a Bay Area native. After she graduated high school from Saint Francis, she played four years of division 1 soccer for the University of Texas at Austin after which she found her way to New Orleans in the wake of hurricane katrina where she took part in rebuilding the city while in medical school at Tulane University. She then made her way back to California to complete her residency at UCSF-Fresno. She is thrilled to be back in her hometown of Los Gatos and considers it a privilege to have the opportunity to serve the community here.
Her mission is simple: to provide excellent and sincere care to her patients above anything else.

After spending probably less than 5mins examining me, she quickly suggested that I would need a surgery. She didn’t even the take the time to explain what the issue was and pushed me to schedule a surgery. I tried to ask her few questions but she didn’t seem to care enough to wait and answer me. I’m glad I took a second opinion. I would never recommend this doctor!

By FAR the best doctor I have ever met! Dr. Adrouny is incredibly knowledgeable, approachable (I promise you she has the best bedside manner) and helpful. You can truly tell she is passionate about her work and patients. One thing I really love and respect about Dr. Adrouny is her accessibility - she will go above and beyond to be there for her patients. I am a Type A worry bug and she responds to every email and call in a timely manner. Even when I moved to Chicago, she and her staff made sure I was taken care of and had everything I need. And get this - during my trip to India Dr. Adrouny was STILL there for me by answering every question and concern I had about my medical routine and providing research documents to help me understand my situation. She is the first doctor who I fly back to California to visit for her great service and guidance.

Dr. Adrouny was extremely patient and kind! I had to get my IUD out because my other doctor couldn’t get it out with some of the equipment she had. I was nervous but she was patient with me and made sure I was doing okay throughout the whole thing. I highly recommend!

Dr Adrouny was super friendly and very approachable. I did not feel like a new patient at all, she made me feel very comfortable and listened to all my concerns and worked with me to come up with the best course of action. I think it is safe to say that my search for an OB-GYN in the bay area is over. Would highly recommend her without any hesitation!

I love Dr. Adrouny but the staff is horrible. I had 4 appointments and something went wrong with each of them:
Appointment #1: Dr. 40 minutes late
Appointment #2: Got called the day of to cancel
Appointment #3: I arrived for my 8:30 appointment but had to wait until 9am because Dr. Adrouny actually doesn't come in until 9am. I asked why have 8:30 appointments and was told "Thats just the way it is"
Appointment #4: Made an appointment and was called while I was on vacation to say she cant make it due to surgery. Then I received a very stern email saying I need to call since I did not answer my phone - I was on vacation.

I usually get really nervous when I see doctors, but she noticed it right away and made sure that I was comfortable and that there isn’t any rush in anything. I arrived and her staff led me to a room before I even filled out paperwork. Dr. Adrouny takes time to get to know you and really listen to your concerns. She really connects with her patients, and cares about them. I wish all doctors were like Dr. Adrouny.

Dr. Adroundy took her time in listening and informing me on my options for birth control. The session did not feel rushed at all, and she answered each question I had patiently and thoroughly. Her staff was very friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere of the clinic is welcoming.
