Dr. Frumin was knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate and provided exactly the service one would expect from an experienced and competent psychiatrist.
Before Dr. Frumin, I initially saw a junior psychiatric nurse practitioner and found the NP to be severely lacking in knowledge and alarmingly incompetent. Then I saw Dr. Frumin and found out what being treated by a "real" psychiatrist is like.
If you have a psychological issue that is more complex than something really simple (eg "general anxiety"), then it's probably worth the premium to see an experienced psychiatrist rather than an unseasoned nurse practitioner.

I am a Board Certified psychiatrist with over twenty five years of clinical experience. I treat mood and anxiety disorders, adult ADHD as well as the psychiatric sequelae of medical illness. I provide both psychotherapy and medication treatment. If a patient already has a psychotherapist, I will provide the medication component of the treatment, and will work collaboratively with the therapist.
I am an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
When a new patient contacts me, we will first speak on the phone to see if it is a good match.
