Wasn’t very friendly and didn’t seem thrilled to be there. Rushed through the whole thing and when I called her back about one of the medications it was hard to get a hold of her.

MD and staff very professional and thorough. I did stop to pick a prescription that was supposed to be called in but the pharmacy had no record of it, so I will have to call the office in the morning since it is now after hours.

I felt that on any initial exam with a new doctor, they should at a minimum, review your medical history with you. I don't feel that Dr. Pla new any of my past medical history prior to my visit and it was all in the computer system from my original Primary Care Doctor. Dr. Pla spent much of he time typing and was not sure why I was there. I told her it was to introduce myself and give her the opportunity to meet me as I was going to be her new patient since my doctor left her practice. Dr. Pla said they should schedule a physical next time, but I feel that this should have been done at this initial visit since she had never met me before. There needs to be better communication when scheduling appointments. If it was scheduled at her office vs zocdoc, this may have not happened.

Dr. Pla is a nice lady but Her bedside manner and enthusiasm is lacking. She doesn't make me feel comfortable and she's seems like a skeptic when questioning symptoms and potential diagnosis. I don't feel she's personable and doesn't take time to get to know her patients. She was with me for ten minutes during a question and answer about my health, Overall she just doesn't have a pleasant demeanor. She should retire.
