Dr. Sheehan received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. She did a Transitional Year Residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pennsylvania and a two-year Family Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. Upon completion of her residency, she went into private practice with Family Physicians of Wilmington for 2 ½ years. She joined Total Care Physicians in June of 2007. Dr. Sheehan is Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Delaware Academy of Family Physicians and the Medical Society of Delaware. Dr. Sheehan has privileges at St. Francis Hospital. Dr. Sheehan sees patients at both our Silverside Road and Omega office locations.

Today was my first appointment with this doctor as my new primary care physician. My appointment was at 1:00pm and they were checking my vitals by 1:05pm. The office staff were all friendly and helpful, the doctor was also friendly and very knowledgeable and thorough. I am so much more at ease after my appointment today because I definitely know that my medical care is now in good hands!
