Mr. Amaro is a amazing doctor. Which is why I chose him as my doctor he just need better help scheduling his appointment I got there at 9:55 am my appointment wasn’t till 10:00 I wasn’t seen till 25-30 minutes later.

The nurse practitioner was super sweet and you could tell she really cares about the patient. She informed me i was pregnant and assured me i would be okay. She also was very thorough & answered all questions i had. Very glad to have experienced a nurse like that.

I had just graduated from High School and received a diploma that read "The University of Notre Dame proudly honors Michael Anthony Amaro as a Notre Dame Scholar in recognition of the outstanding academic and personal record that he has achieved in the exercise of his God-given talents. May he be granted continued success and brought to fullness of life." Since then I have been able to accomplish this as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist.
The practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology is so rewarding because you get to practice women's Medicine and Surgery. One is able to see the joy of childbirth first hand and evaluate the psyche of the female, which is absolutely fascinating. You are able to witness families being born, grow and then develop. You watch as babies mature into little children, adolescents and then young adults. I will never forget the first time a patient came to me and told me that she wanted me to deliver her baby because I had been her mother's doctor when she was born. That was such an incredible feeling. I wish each of you could experience what I am able to experience each and every day.

We did not meet in an examination room, it was an office, where I sat in a chair in front of his desk, so there was no bedside manner. He just listened to my pain issue, wrote a prescription, and sent me out. He didn't ask for a follow-up, what it could be, nothing to find the issue at hand. this was in 2016, so maybe he changed.

Dr amaro is a wonderful dr, I he delivered my first baby. However the front desk staff was very unpleasant and also not informative. I also work for united healthcare so I'm used to dealing with providers daily. They have made this visit extremely unpleasant to where I will never go again.

Worst experience ever. The nurses and staff were nice but I'm assuming Dr Amaro makes to much money to feel like he has to greet, smile, or do anything to make his patients feel comfortable.

The first time I went I was seen by a registered nurse, who was amazing.
Second time I was seen by Dr. Amaro himself, an experience I do not recommend. While he was doing my breast exam he was talking about how young and perky they looked and comparing them to the nurse's. I felt extremely uncomfortable.

Cynthia is very nice! Dr. Amaro is great doc.The front desk were not friendly. They didn't know that patients can book appointments on ZocDoc.

The office and staff are nice. Dr. Amaro is actually pretty cool, easy to talk to, very personable. My one and only complaint is the ridiculous wait time. My appt was at 330p but I wasn't called to the exam room until after 430p. I left that office it was after 5p. I only had a check-up. Maybe it'll get better next visit...
