About Dr. Smita Saraykar
Smita Saraykar, MD, MPH, earned her medical degree from the Government Medical College in India in 2002. She also earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas, School of Public Health, in Houston in 2005. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Georgia in 2024, then joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2024.
Dr. Saraykar became a physician to serve as a healthcare expert who coordinates care across all specialties for not just her patients but for their entire families. As a primary care physician, Dr. Saraykar sees patients for preventive care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunizations and screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining healthy lifestyles. Dr. Saraykar treats a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including respiratory infections, GI infections, GU infections, diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, joint injections, allergies, heart disease, kidney disease, obesity, immunizations, cancer screening, and more.
