Dr. McFadden completed his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Akron Children’s Hospital. He is dual board-certified in child and adolescent and adult psychiatry.
Dr. McFadden uses medication management in combination with cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and supportive therapies, and motivational interviewing with children and adolescents. He believes mental health has been a misunderstood and underserved area of medicine. Dr. McFadden wants to reassure and teach others that it is a vital and legitimate part of taking care of oneself. He works collaboratively with his patients to determine the best course of action to help them feel like themselves.
In his spare time, Dr. McFadden enjoys PC and console gaming, movies, and weightlifting. He recently started learning to play piano and is a self-proclaimed ice cream aficionado.
