I have always been fascinated with the human struggle. As an undergraduate at New York University, where I earned my bachelor's degree, I learned to document the human condition while attending Tisch School of the Arts as a film major. I decided to go to medical school at Ross University School of Medicine - Academic Campus because I wanted to take an active role in helping individuals overcome their personal challenges.
I knew going into medical school that I wanted to specialize in psychiatry because I feel that mental health is the framework for overall health. Someone can be physically ill and still be content, but if your mental well-being is compromised, then your entire life will be out of balance.
I take a holistic approach to treatment-true wellness requires looking at all the contributors to your health. This may include traditional psychiatric treatments but also may incorporate nontraditional methods such as exercise, nutrition, mindfulness, and meditation.
I believe strongly in personalized attention and take the time that is required to address your concerns. Every one of my patients has my direct phone number, and when you are under my care…
