I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing from Florida International University in 2006 and have been a Registered Nurse for more than 15 years. I have experience working in critical care, catheterization lab and medical-surgical. In December 2020, I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Masters Degree in Nursing and attained my Board Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) January 2021. My PMHNP practicum was with Compass health where under the guidance of a MD and Nurse Practitioner I cared for patients across the lifespan with a variety of mental health disorders. I believe in patient advocacy and empowerment through delivery of quality healthcare.

The teleconference quality was very poor and I could hardly understand what the Dr. was saying. I felt she was running through a check list with me and not actually listening to my problems.
I was billed for a phone call where she called me to sort out a prescription that she ordered. She nor the office informed me about the charges for a 5 minute phone call until I was billed. Further, by accident, I was paid twice for the same invoice yet the office was unable to reverse the charges.
Over all, I felt this was a weird practice. Beware!
