My problems include alcohol abuse and anxiety. From the very first, I felt comfortable with Dr. Combs. He is nonjudgemental, knowledgeable, empathetic and kind. He has helped me lessen my problems with alcohol and anxiety and has led me to more clearly understand the underlying issues contributing to these problems. I'm not LGBT or African American, specialty areas of Dr. Comb's, but chose him on a gut reaction. I am so thankful that I did. I'm a happier and more productive person due to him.

I’m a board-certified psychiatrist who will do my best to help you overcome the obstacles in your way, recognize negative patterns in your life and behavior, and find healthy, productive responses to the challenges you face.
Medication is most effective when it’s used in combination with therapy, and my patients have usually found it helpful to explore their emotional lives. If you’re only interested in medication management, however, I’m happy to work with you.

i felt as though he really listened. I haven't seen a psychiatrist in over 20 yrs. that I felt as comfortable and got the sense that he was actually listening to what I was speaking about, and cared. Really great experience. Offered some great insight into thought/behavioral patterns that I had never realized. Did not push medication, but helped me come to my own decision about it.
