The doctor was great! The receptionist was late to open the office, also a touch on the rude side and loved to gossip even though I was in earshot. If the doctor leaves the practice which I overheard, I will probably be looking elsewhere.

Dr. Michael J. Corpuz is a foot and ankle specialist and surgeon. He grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA and completed his undergraduate training at the University of Southern California, majoring in Kinesiology / Exercise Science. After completing his medical training at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Podiatric Medicine, he finished his three-year residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, specializing in reconstructive foot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery. During his extensive training, he organized several educational workshops for medical students and authored research papers in various medical journals and online publications.
He has special interests in the management of sports injuries, biomechanics, custom orthotic construction, diabetic foot and wound care, and surgical correction of bunion deformities. Recreationally, Dr. Corpuz is a basketball enthusiast, sneaker collector, and an avid photographer.

Dr. Corpuz and his office were extremely professional and easy to deal with. I had sprained my ankle on a Friday and wasn't confident in the treatment I received from an urgent care, so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Corpuz on the Monday after the weekend. His bedside manner is excellent, and I felt really confident in his knowledge. He was very thorough and took x-rays to rule out a break. When the results came back negative, he still offered to wrap my foot in a soft, temporary cast like material that had my foot feeling better in a matter of days.

Dr. Corpuz is an incredible doctor who obviously cares about his patients; not only did I experience this firsthand, but I also overheard his other patient interactions. As for me, he took plenty of time to inspect my feet and to diagnose the source of my pain. He was attentive, detailed and made sure that I left his office as comfortable as I could. Dr. Corpuz was very professional and went above and beyond to help me choose the firh orthotics for my needs. The office has a lab at its location, so you dont need to wait for the office to outsource the creation or mending of the orthotics for weeks. They do it all right there! Would highly recommend this office and doctor.

Dr. Corpuz was kind enough to take me in during lunch hours on an emergency basis and the staff was so patient and friendly. I was very nervous but Dr.Corpuz made me feel comfortable and talked through all the steps of the procedure he was performing. He gracefully did it and I barely felt a thing. If you're looking for a professional and caring podiatrist, this is your guy! Oh, and he's easy on the eyes too.
