Dr. Errico is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and has been in the practice of orthopedic surgery in Manhasset NY since 1972. He is an independent solo practitioner. He no longer performs surgery and now does diagnostic consultations and treatment of non- operative orthopedic conditions of all age groups. His experience dates back to before the institution of orthopedic specialities which gives him a broad spectrum of knowledge in the field of musculoskeletal diseases. His interest later evolved to hip and knee replacements, arthrosopic surgery, fractures and trauma. He maintains an active practice.
He graduated from Yale University with a BA degree and Cornell University Medical College. His orthopedic training was at the Hospital for Special Surgery and he performed surgery there, at North Shore Hospital and St Francis Hospital throughout his career. He maintains staff relationships at these hospitals to the present. He served in the United States Air Force and spent a year in Vietnam rendering orthopedic care to war casualties. He also spent 10 years as program director of the Health Volunteers Organization mission to Costa Rica performing surgery there and training young orthopedic residents.
