Michael Gershon, Ph.D. has been a clinical psychologist for over 45 years. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Rhode Island. He attended the internship program at the Fort Logan Mental Health Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Gershon has been in practice for many years. Before joining LifeStance Health, he was a co-founder and psychologist at Gershon Psychological Associates for over fifteen years. Prior to that, he had been a partner at Psychological Associates. Dr. Gershon worked with many children and their families over the years for both therapy and assessments. He has also worked with many parents and has taught them behavior modification strategies. Currently, he enjoys working with adults and couples. His specialty areas include ADHD, disruptive behaviors disorders, mood disorders, parenting, assessment, marriage and couples counseling, and school consultations. (RI License # 171)
