Dr. Osman began his academic work at Georgetown University where he received a Bachelor of Science with honors. He also received his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University. His post-doctoral work included an internship in transitional medicine at Georgetown University, a residency in ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and a fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Osman is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. and is affiliated with Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University Hospital, Inova Fairfax Hospital, Virginia Hospital Center, and Friendship Surgery Center. Dr. Osman’s academic appointments include a current position as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. and he has served as part of the vitreoretinal faculty at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a member of five medical societies and organizations.
