Dr. Herrera attended medical school at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. After earning his Medical Degree he went on to complete his Family Practice Residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Herrera has always had a desire to make the community a better place by caring for the sick. This desire has led him to work hard in his studies to be able to bring the best care to his patients. His heart is full of compassion and a true desire to put the patient's needs first.

Overall a good appointment. I was asked to fill out paperwork after I had filled it out already using the app before the appointment, and that was a negative, but the patient care itself was a positive.

Great experience! Waited 20 minutes after my appointment time, but he was so detailed I understand why there is a wait. Treats you and is not rushing patient to patient. Highly recomend him.

Dr. Herrera and his staff were impressive. Front desk was quick and friendly. I had already entered all my info online so not having to complete the paperwork upon arriving was nice. The PA came in and explained what the process would be like as I was a new patient of theirs. The Dr and PA were friendly enough but kept it moving by not getting off track. They were attentive to my needs and I was in and out in a snap. Will definitely recommend and use again.

Dr. Herrera was very caring and professional. He took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed each one. He did not rush in and out of the room but took the time to listen. His office staff was pleasant and they were even able to draw the blood right then and there without having to be sent to a lab. I would highly recommend him and his office.

The receptionists were talking about how Dr Herrera is useless and doesnt want to deal with certain patients and tells them to see other Dr's with 3 patients sitting in the waiting room which was extremely unprofessional and not very comforting. Dr Herrera is nice but the visit just felt rushed Im not sure how comfortable i am going back after hearing what one of the receptionists were saying and waiting over 15 minutes after my appointment time to go in the backroom and another 10-15 minutes to be seen. I didn't have a good feeling here; if you need a quick appt because you are sick go for it but this isn't the right choice for me for a PCP.
