I thought Dr. Kern was great. He was very thorough and talked me through a variety of issues I had been dealing with. He was very personable and made me feel extremely comfortable. Very interested in maintaining a relationship with his patients which I believe to be necessary for top-notch medical care.

After a pretty awful experience with a new PCP in Oakland, I found out about Zocdoc, and then through Zocdoc found out about Dr. Kern. Dr. Kern was polite, professional, attentive and everything you could want in a PCP. The office is beautiful and clean and the girls at the front desk were super nice. I'm very thankful to have found someone trustworthy to have as my PCP.

Doctor Michael Kern, was great, the assistant that checked me in was awesome, but the assistance that checked me out with the finial results was the worse, she was on her cell phone the whole time did not explain anything to me regarding the next steps, dhe simply handed me the papers and said to have a nice day while on her phone

Through Zocdoc my doctor already knew what I was in the office for and with minimal paperwork I was sent to the back for traditional blood pressure, weight and height check. I waited in the patient room for less that 5 min before Dr. Kern came to visit. He was friendly, easy to talk to and I could tell he had an appreciation for caring for his patients.
