Dr. Lam is a graduate of UT Arlington with a B.S. in Biology. He achieved his doctorate in podiatric medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH. He then completed a three-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency as a chief resident with an added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, NY. Dr. Lam then completed an additional one-year fellowship in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery in Newport Beach, CA.
Dr. Lam is extensively trained in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery, Sports Medicine, Diabetic Limb Salvage, Trauma & External Fixation. He has been trained by some of the world leaders in foot and ankle care. He strives to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to all of his patients and believes each patient is unique.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with wife, Uni, and his 2 year-old son, Aiden. He enjoys traveling, watching movies, playing chess and basketball.
