Dr. McKelvey is Board-Certified in Dermatology. A native of Southeast Ohio, Dr. McKelvey received his undergraduate degree from Miami University. He completed medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, graduating with honors at all levels of his education. Following medical school, he spent his internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital, and then returned to The Ohio State University Medical Center for residency training in dermatology.
Dr. McKelvey has interests in both medical and surgical dermatology. He is also enjoys teaching and is active in the education of resident physicians. He currently lectures at Ohio State and is a preceptor for clinics at the VA Medical Center. Dr. McKelvey is a past President of the Central Ohio Dermatological Society.
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. McKelvey enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is active in sports and outdoor recreation, and especially enjoys basketball, golf, waterskiing, fishing, and supporting the Buckeyes!

I love northeast dermatology because they value my time as much as theirs. They are very prompt with every visit. Dr. McKelvey always uses appointments to make sure all questions are answered as well as educate me as a patient about any conditions or procedures. Great staff and overall care!
