Michael Raisch, is a board certified dermatologist, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. His specialty is Mohs Surgery, a microscopically controlled surgery to treat skin cancer. With this specialty, Dr. Raisch is able to provide Dermatology Center of the Rockies patients with this most effective treatment for removing the two most common types of skin cancer.
Dr. Raisch graduated summa cum laude from The University of California, Santa Barbara. He earned his medical degree from Duke University in North Carolina where he completed an honors level thesis in the lab of Nobel Prize winning scientist Robert Lefkowitz. He completed his internship in internal medicine. Dr. Raisch completed his residency in dermatology at Duke and completed his fellowship in Mohs Surgery at The University of North Carolina, where he had extensive training in the Mohs technique.
Dr. Raisch is passionate about the Mohs technique in curing cancer and is devoted to achieving cosmetically elegant repairs.
In his free time, Dr. Raisch enjoys the local beauty and food of Colorado with his wife and daughter.
