Dr. Spagnuolo attended the Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine to receive his medical degree. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Michigan State University’s Botsford General Hospital. Dr. Spagnuolo’s fellowship was completed with the Desert Orthopaedic Center, where he studied adult reconstruction and arthritis surgery. His clinical experience provided him hands-on insight to performing high-quality minimally-invasive partial and total hip and knee arthroplasties. He also completed conversions from partial knee replacements to total knee replacements. Dr. Spagnuolo also gained experience with infections and periprosthetic fractures.
