My main reason for making an appoint was for something that was untreatable by this doctor. However, the second most import reason I set this appointment was for an annual entire skin exam. The first reason (untreated by this doctor) was a new mole like growth. A new mole growth in adults is an area of concern, but I don’t feel this doctor’s office followed this logic. An entire skin exam was not done. Perhaps they were to busy, but they did have time to freeze a few areas of my skin which I had brought to their attention. My reason for not coming back, is the entire skin exam should have been the priority and the skin freezing could have been at a later date.

I want in for a full dermatological exam and ended up with skin biopsy of a lesion on my back. They were very thorough and though I'm unnerved while I await my pathology report, I'm grateful I went and that they really looked at every square inch of my body. I will definitely be returning.

I made an appointment on Zocdoc and no one called to confirm my appointment so I then called the number on the site and was told by a customer service representative that my appointment was not even in their system. She tried to schedule me to see a Nurse Practitioner instead when I kept telling her I'd prefer a Dermatologist. I was then told that the only Dermatologist they had was working in almost every part of Florida but the area I requested. I just ended up booking an appointment with a local Dermatologist. I'm disappointed with the site. Hopefully it will be more accurate in time.

The office staff was kind, patient and helpful. The nurse was so super kind and had an amazing bedside manner. But then I Did not see Dr. Steppie, instead a woman they only referred to by her first name. She came off as insistent that my concerns were unwarranted to a dismissive degree, despite the fact skin cancer runs in my family. No real information was offered to mi.e.. Appointment was pricier than expected.

The office was pleasant. The lady at the check out window could have made a better effort to understand what I was trying to ask her and not raised her voice. The girl who took my info back in the examining room was delightful and helpful in finding the answer to a question. The actual professional was very brief when she looked at this rash that had appeared on my neck which was very painful and gave me some lotion that had no directions on when or how to use it. She prescribed a medication that was very expensive and that did nothing to cure the rash or prevent the rash from spreading to my ear. I had to call and ask for something that would contain it and cure it. 5 days later the rash is unchanged in its severity and I am looking for a new doctor.
