Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Sherkin earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph, graduating with Dean’s List distinction. She went on to receive her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of her compassion, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care. Dr. Sherkin completed her preliminary training in Internal Medicine through Florida Atlantic University at Boca Regional Hospital and Bethesda Hospital East before pursuing dermatology residency training at Larkin Health System in South Miami.
