Dr. Tracy and his staff are very professional and friendly. I was treated very well from the moment I entered the office until I checked out. All of my concerns were clearly answered, and I learned new solutions to my problems that I wished I had learned a long time ago. I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Tracy provided an excellent consultation, and I feel extremely comfortable with him working on my eyes.
He answered all my questions, and was very patient and friendly at all times. He then continued to answer questions I had not asked, and fully explained all of the pros and cons to options for my procedure. He was thorough in his analysis, and my experience could not have been better!

Dr. Tracy grew up in San Diego and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego.
He attended medical school at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons.
He completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at the Scheie Eye Institute, at the University of Pennsylvania.
He then completed a Corneal and Refractive Surgery fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
U.S. News & World Report has consistently ranked the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute as the #1 eye hospital in the United States.
Dr. Tracy is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. And he is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Prior to opening his current office in Carlsbad, Dr. Tracy served as a medical director at TLC Laser Eye Centers, and has performed thousands of LASIK and PRK procedures.
In his free time, Dr. Tracy enjoys spending time with his wife, reading, and watching classic films. He is also learning to play the piano.

Dr. Tracy was thorough and thoughtful the entire visit. He.explained every test along with each result. He also answered all my questions making for a very pleasant and efficient visit.

Top Notch Service! Dr Michael Tracy is a wonderful Ophthalmologist. He's very professional, knowledgeable and a down to earth friendly person that makes you feel right at home. Natalie the front office manager is super friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I was seen very quickly and can't wait to go back for my follow up. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a superb Ophthalmologist He is definitely the one!

This was by far the best experience I've had at the eye doctor. Dr. Tracy spent extra time listening to my history and addressing all my concerns. The office is nice and clean and the equipment all like new. He answered all my questions with through descriptions and a great sense of humor to boot. And the only waiting I did was waiting for my eyes to dilate. Glad to have found a new eye doctor in North County.
