Dr. Wasylik was great and seemed to be very knowledgeable. The office is not great - much older, the wait was over 30 minutes, and I had to fill out the same types of paperwork I did online, but once I met with Dr. Wasylik, I was pleased with the appointment. I would recommend him.

With more than 30 years of clinical experience in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Wasylik strives to provide each patient with the best care. He believes in using evidence based medicine in an attempt to achieve outstanding results. He does minimally invasive joint replacement surgery and uses Navitrack Navigation System by ORTHOsoft.
Dr. Wasylik was named Outstanding Physician of the Year for the Hillsborough County Medical Association in 2002. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He belongs to the Hillsborough County Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Florida Orthopaedic Society, and the American Medical Association. He has served as President of the Hillsborough County Medical Association.
He is an attending orthopaedic surgeon on the staffs at St. Joseph's Hospital and Memorial Hospital. At St. Joseph's Hospital, he has been elected Chief of Orthopaedics and Chief of the Medical Staff twice from 2004-2005 and from 2015-20016.
He has been elected President of the Florida Orthopeadic Society from 2014-2015.
Dr. Wasylik is Chairman of the State Consumer Health Information and Policy Advisory Council at the Agency for Health Care Administration for the year 2015.
Dr. Wasylik holds a B.S. and M.D., from the Ohio State University. He completed his surgical internship at the College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His orthopaedic surgery residency was completed at Case Western Reserve Affiliated Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and, during that residency, he was a research trainee for the National Institute of Health. He was commissioned a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy, serving at the Orlando Naval Regional Hospital in Orlando, Florida.

Waited entire too long for an early morning appointment. Spent virtually no time with me. Staff was not pleasant either.

Dr. had the worst bedside manner and greeted me not with an introduction or handshake, but by walking in saying “So what’s the problem?”. Very rude front office staff. X ray tech was nice, but kept trying to X-ray the wrong knee. Office was so dark, dingy and out of date. The office tried for 5 days just to fax my prescription to a local pharmacy and were repeatedly unsuccessful. I took two trips to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription that never went through. Never scheduled a follow up appointment or got my prescription. This was what I got for finding a Dr who had immediate availability. Anyone you want to be seen by should be booked out.

Was very unpleasant to deal with the 2 spanish girls at the front desk, The black girl was the most sweet person there, along with the radiologist. The doctor acting like he was in a tremendous rush, and dont care what I have to said. With that been said, will NEVER combac to that office again. NEVER.....

Dr Wasylik is very professional. I told him about my shoulder pain. He immediately took an X-ray. He was able to tell me what was wrong with my shoulder during my visit. He said surgery would be last resort! Thank goodness.
