Was only a quick follow up....can't say much
They were moving offices, or were using a temporary office, when I went. There were a couple mixups with my testing/test-results because of this. Generally they responded pretty well and were friendly and helpful. The doctor was caring and took the time to explain the results and recommendations. But the mixups prevents me from giving a 5-star review.
Maybe I went on an off day. Aside from the painstaking wait, Dr. Young was great, his nurse was super nice.
I've seen the doctor before and he's terrific. He takes his time, he listens, he asks the right questions. I feel that I am in excellent hands.
Dr. Young makes you feel very comfortable regardless of the subject matter. He hears you and acts fully, as necessary, to your needs.
Dr. Young respects the intelligence of his patients and explains what he is doing, why he is doing it and what options there are for treating or not treating something. If there is new and relevant research he also shares the information and he obviously stays informed and up to date in his field.
Lots of wisdom and experience in his field. He did most of the exams himself and seemed genuinely insightful and thoughtful on condition and symptoms.
Dr. Young is great. He's very thorough and professional. He covers all the bases.
As always, Dr. Young was helpful and pleasant to deal with.
What a horror today was at your facility. The fact that a new system is being implemented should not have caused so much ciaos. My appt. was at Noon. I was told to wait because of the new system learning curve. Finally at 2 pm I again inquired why a delay when I had an appt. with a specialist and as I'm discussing it I see the Dr. leaving for the day. Wow! what a nightmare. They couldn't find the paperwork that I signed in with was the excuse. If I didn't like the Doctors there so much I wouldn't come back again.
Very approachable and it felt like he really listened to you and took his time to explore what was wrong. He was transparent in the care he would provide and gave recommendations. Excellent Doctor, Im just sad he couldnt be my primary doctor.
Good visit. Good doctor.
Most wonderful doctor in NY!
I couldn't be more satisfied! Dr. Young's demeanor put me immediately at ease as we discussed my symptoms, and treatments. The office itself was clean and not too crowded, and the staff was friendly and fast. Overall the best experience one could hope for out of a trip to the doctor.
My guy for urology matters. Can't imagine a better doctor for this.
Dr. Young is great, I felt he listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions, I couldn't have been happier. Dr. Young was ready to see me right away at my scheduled appointment time. We now have a plan of action to deal with the issues I presented to him. I recommend Dr. Young without hesitation.
He was thorough, informative with a great bedside manner.
It was fine.
Dr Young is a great professional. he takes the time to explain and clarify as much as necessary. Besides, he is punctual and kind. I would highly recommend him!

Very Helpful. Straight and to the point. Also very generous and understanding.
From the staff to the doctor, I was truly impressed. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Just the was this New Yorker likes it.
as usual excellent , and Trisha she's the best
Good visit - able to help and diagnose issue.
As always, Dr. Young thoroughly reviewed tests, explained, and discussed my current "State Of Urology", affording me plenty of time to ask my questions and formulate a plan forward. His bedside manner is tops; easy to talk to; respectful of the patient. You never feel rushed. Additionally, his staff (Emily) @ the 34th St office was extremely helpful, going out of their way to correct last minute problems with my referral so I wouldn't lose my appointment.
I was pleased he was very nice and explained everything I needed to know in a language I could understand.
Dr Young is great. He's straightforward and on time and a good Dr.
I've seen Dr Young several times over the past year. He is always thorough, personable, willing to explain things when necessary, and runs pretty close to schedule. He's helped my problem considerably.
He listened. He thought. He answered.
Always good. Dr. Young knows what he's doing, but treats you like a human being and let's you know what's going on.
his consistent combination of hospitality and medical expertise insure efficacy of treatment and great sense of well being in his and his staffs care.
Very fast and efficient. Answered my questions, did what he had to do, ran a few tests, was in and out fairly quickly and left feeling better than when I arrived, which is always a good sign.
I thought my visit went well
Professional, competent and helpful
Difficult to see. Office is disorganized. Advice and treatment were questionable. Poor communication and follow up. Answered my questions in a defensive manner.
Dr Young is great. Intelligent, patient, explains everything and takes his patients seriously as human beings.
I was seen less than 30 minutes after my appointment time only because of an error where the doctor called me ahead of someone else who should have gone first by appointment time. It is also hard to see Dr Young and I sometimes wonder how knowledgable he is. My condition is chronic but he just sends me to the same testing every time it flairs up and gives me impractical advice. The staff members was nice but were badly overworked and this led to errors and aggrivation trying to schedule testing and followups.
No, I would definitely not recommend this Physician to anyone. I had a very unpleasant experience with him and this is why: 1. The doctor called me earlier at the morning date asking to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled time of the appointment. I find this very rude and disrispectful, he shouldn't offer appointment at 2:00. Besides I am his patient as well, I deserve all his time and attention when he is seeing me. Even when the doctor asked me to be there 30 minutes early he saw me 30 minutes after the scheduled time. The doctor saw me in a hurry, he examined me very briefly, without any interest. After examining me, the doctor didn't explain me what he saw he just dismissed me and told me that the next time I should bring and interpreter, eventhough I know, that there are interpreters available at the hospital. I left the doctor's office with more questions than answers.
I wouldn't recommend this doctor. Unfortunately, with the amount of experience he supposedly has, he has the worse bedside manner. I had an initial visit which he then sent me for testing, to then have a follow up where he requested more testing (whe he could of just called me to say I am sending a script to send you for more testing, instead of asking me to pay an additional co pay, making me wait 45 minutes to see me for 2 minutes to tell me that) and then proceeded to be extremely rude and not sympathetic. In the end he said he isn't sure what to recommend and I will be taking my file and going to a different doctor. There are so many choices in physicians out there, I would highly recommend to give another physician a chance.
Office staff discussed details of patient visits in the waiting area. Dr. Young practices very paternalistic medicine.
I like Dr. Young. His nurse is very helpful also.
Appears to be competent and friendly. Nurse also very helpful and friendly.
Answered all my questions and helped relieve any concerns!
Dr. Young is very professional and knowledgable. Wants to help.
Dr. Young was very friendly and thoughtful throughout the appointment. I felt comfortable and expect to have a followup with him in the future.
First visit was excellent. He asked if it was ok for me to get a sonogram. I said ok and did. Then he thought I might have a small stone so he wanyed to do a cat scan. I said I had no pain and a cat scan has a lot of xrays. He said it did not, so i said ok. When i returned for the cat scan they had lost my blood tests and that I had to wait 2 hours for the one person who could take my blood to come in. I said goodbye and will not return to this doctor.
Contact with Dr. Young was satisfactory and met my needs. However, I was not called to see the doctor until almost 1:00 PM for a 12:15 PM scheduled appointment; an excessive overdue appointment in my view for a patient who took time off his job to see the doctor and needed to return to work as soon as possible. Following my discussion with the doctor, he ordered another blood draw for some additional testing and there was another 5-10 minute wait until a nurse arrived to take the blood specimen. Additionally, the nurse supervisor had a significant discussion with the receptionist about how to do her job within hearing of patients in the waiting room, which indicated lack of proficiency and this discussion should have been handled privately. I think it is possible for the Urology Dept. to improve significantly with regard to the issues I am pointing out and provide better patient service as a result. Thank you.
It's always good. Dr. Young is personable, helpful, pays attention to your concerns, and explains things in a clear and understandable manner. I never get the feeling this is just business to him. I wish my other doctors were more like him.
My visit with Dr, Young was great
A Excellent doctor and very nice.
I actually like Dr. Young, but I am furious that Zocdoc allowed me to make an appointment on a day on which he did not have office hours! I strongly suspect this was the fault of the doctor's office and not Zocdoc.
