The Staff and the Doctor were terrific! They conducted a thourough and detailed exam for me. Their diagnostic instruments are state-of-the-art. Today was my first visit, but it won't be my last.

Great experience; very courteous and efficient staff. Dr Hung is very knowledgeable and spent time explaining things to me which I really appreciate. I like to learn and be informed about what the doctor is doing, why the tests are being done, what the tests do, why my eyes or prescription is what it is, what I can expect as I age, etc.
This definitely wasn't a routine, going thru the motions, appointment. Dr Hung clearly spent effort understanding my vision capabilities and ensured the prescription was properly diagnosed and set to be optimized for my eyes. She also asked questions about my routine and what I do for work to understand full circle. Would recommend Dr Hung to anyone.

In 2007, she graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in Houston, Texas. Prior to her doctorate, Dr. Hung earned her Bachelor of Sciences degree from University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Mb, Canada.

Dr. Hung has been a resident of the Houston Heights area for many years. She was born in Taiwan, raised in Canada, and made it to Texas as quick as she could (2003). She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese with a working knowledge of Cantonese. She and her husband are members of First Presbyterian Church of Houston, and they work together as facilitators for Looking Toward Marriage Classes. They have a toddler daughter and two dogs (They HEART the Houston Pet Protection League!). As a family, they enjoy traveling, live music, cooking, and entertaining friends at their home in Heights.
