About Dr. Dixie Yee
Dr. Dixie Yee is an experienced optometrist who has been serving the Houston community for many years. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2005 and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2010.
Dr. Yee has always been passionate about optometry, having grown up in a family of optometrists. Her expertise lies in primary eye care, co-management of LASIK and cataract procedures, and ocular emergent care, including diabetes, age-related macular degeneration, and glaucoma. She is committed to providing her patients with the best possible care and works to ensure they get the perfect fit in glasses and contact lenses.
In 2010, Dr. Yee's paper "Neuromyelitis Optica" was published in the Institute of Optometric Practice, demonstrating her dedication to staying current with the latest research and developments in her field.
Deeply invested in her patients' health and well-being, Dr. Yee finds great fulfillment in being part of their healthcare journey. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, culinary adventures, and crafting. Milk tea and coffee are among her favorite indulgences. Dr. Yee lives in Houston with her husband and their fluffy dog, Yoshi.

Dr. Dee is an incredibly sweet, kind, and knowledgeable doctor. She thoroughly addressed my concerns, reassured me that my condition was not serious, and provided helpful recommendations on how to care for my eye. Her staff was equally wonderful—Maria and Terry (aka Ms. TT) were patient, friendly, and welcoming. Ms. TT also helped me pick out a new frame for my glasses and made the experience enjoyable with great conversation.
I was having a particularly difficult day before my appointment, but after spending time with Dr. Dee and her team, my day truly turned around. Thank you all for such excellent care and kindness!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Dr, Yee, Handicapped Parking was one step from the office door. Regular parking was outdoor and convenient, as well. ................The office staff was efficient, friendly, and helpful. I waited no more than 10 or 15 minutes while I filled out all my information. ............Dr. Yee was friendly, attractive, and explained the process as the testing went along. ...........Dr. Yee is a KEEPER!

I am new to Texas and chose this location within a few hours of my appointment time and was nervous but in the end was HAPPILY surprised. Seems like a woman owned and ran business and everyone was so kind, friendly, and incredibly welcoming! They walked me through everything with my new insurance, pricing options for contacts and glasses, and had an amazing deal on my glasses/contacts I got.
