My initial contact with office personnel was very pleasant and efficient, however the medical assistant Natasha was not efficient at all. She was very puzzled as to what she needed to do and took close to an hour with just the vitals. Taking my blood was ridiculously tedious. Although I have excellent veins she was very nervous. This alone took at least 20 minutes, however she was very polite and apologetic.

She is the Founder, CEO, and CMO of Powell Health Solutions, a multi-specialty medical practice in South Florida. My visit with Dr. Powell met my personal standard of care. She was welcoming, pleasant, professional, and thorough. I especially appreciated her down-to-earth bedside manner. I think the doctor and staff were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The only negative thing hold be the extremely long wait time. My appointment was for 10:45 and didn’t get seen until almost 12. Other than that, everything was good.

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. A DR. in training from the Dominican Republic basically attended me. I maybe got to see the Michelle for 5 minutes 1 hour after my appointment time started (I arrived early). I asked a question about something that concerned me and I’m Michelle didn’t bother to take a in-depth look and help me have piece of mind. Health care is expensive and it’s very frustrating to work hard, have a job with health insurance, pay expensive copays and be baited and switched to be attended by a Caribbean educated doctor with terrible bedside manor (my blood was drawn and no gloves were used)! No hygienic and an overall upsetting experience. I won’t be back!

Dr. Michelle Powell is an amazing doctor. She is very knowledgable and was not just in a rush to get you in and out of her office. I went in for an annual exam and Dr. Powell noticed a skin rash on my feet that for years I thought was the result of chemical burn. She let me know what it was, brought a medical book in the room that showed me more about the type of eczema and was helpful overall. She listens well, is very kind, and patient. The nurse assistant was great as well. However, the receptionist and checkout representatives can use a bit of customer care grooming.

The staff was very helpful, nice and friendly. Although I did not get a confirmation to the appt. I called before leaving the house and I was told that there was no appt. recorded for me and that they had no idea what Zocdoc was. Therefore I made a a bit late to the appt. while Zocdoc sorted out the confusion.

It was great at first but when I needed to call into the office and you have to call like 12 times to reach someone and then on more than one occasion, I got fed up with that. It's been over a week and I still can't get my blood pressure medication re-filled.

I was a patient at this facility. My appointment was December 23, 2015 and I still have not gotten any follow up from the office. I asked for a call back and still haven't gotten one. I called recently March 1st and spoke to Coco. She said someone would call me back either on the 1st or the 2nd of March. I tried calling the 2nd, which was yesterday and the phone just kept ringing. This is the worst customer service I have ever had from a doctor's office.
