Work background:
I am a medical provider with 8 years of experience working in both the inpatient medicine and cardiology units at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. I loved working with a diverse patient population with complex medical conditions. I also worked for one year in the emergency room abroad, often serving as the sole provider for patients in the ambulatory and corona units.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
I believe that the role of a primary care provider should be to focus on preventative healthcare by educating patients about lifestyle modifications. In order to provide the best medical care possible, it is also important to look at the patient as a whole, taking into consideration both the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I'm truly privileged to be a medical provider. I’m passionate about serving others during their times of need, and providing guidance for a healthy, happy life!
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
When I’m not working, I enjoy taking long walks on the beach with my dog. I also love to travel and immerse myself in different cultures.
