Great! I went in for an eye exam (to update my prescription eyeglasses) and Dr. Ioussifova was very professional, friendly and clear. Her staff is very friendly and gave me great customer service when I needed to pick out a frame. I was never suggested getting computer and distance glasses before, so I am thankful for Dr. I. It will definitely help with my headaches from staring at a computer all day at work.

I received my Doctor of Optometry degree in 2007 from the New England College of Optometry and completed a residency program in Boston, MA. In 2009 I returned to Portland and re-discovered how lovely, unique and special Portland is. Portlandians appreciate individuality and uniqueness. At South Waterfront Eye Care, I want my patients to feel personal service from the moment they walk in.
I am a strong proponent of preventative care and believe that nutrition and natural lifestyle can help you be healthy and happy for life. And you can look good doing it!
When I am not doing what I love (taking care of eyes), I like to spend time with my family and friends. I love all the beautiful outdoors of this amazing state and I try to take advantage of it us much as I can. I enjoy snowboarding, running, yoga and surfing.
I am originally from Azerbaijan, so I can speak Azerbaijani and Russian fluently.

Very professional, super cool and sleek atmosphere. I was greeted with a tea since it was cold outside and had the best customer service trying to select my frames. Very nice touch from the doctor to give me a pair of disposable sunglasses to be able to walk outside after the pupil dilatation test. I had a great visit and look forward to visiting them again.

She was fantastic! I needed an eye exam and updated contact lens prescription and she went above and beyond. I was a new patient and she identified a non-harmful flaw in my eye that had gone undetected my whole life. She gave me many choices of contact lenses to try. Made me feel comfortable. Reception was great and friendly too. Can't recommend enough.

I had a great experience here! Dr. Ioussifova was professional and thorough, but also very personable. During my eye exam, she took the time to explain to me what she was doing and how each part of the exam related to my health. Her office manager helped me figure out how to get manufacturer rebates on my contacts and my order came in quickly. She also has a great selection of glasses and sunglasses. I will definitely be back!
