Dr. Goldshmidt is awesome - I was a little worried at first, 1. It was my first time trying therapy online 2. I thought we would clash because of our cultural backgrounds, but she’s been great. She’s very easy to talk to, she’s not judgmental, and provides honest feedback in an easy to swallow manner.

I have struggled with my mental health for most of my life and Dr. Goldshmidt really listened to me and helped me develop a treatment plan that's has given me hope for the first time in a long time.

Dr. Milena Goldshmidt is double-boarded in Adult Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine and has been practicing for 10 years. She enjoys working from home after the new addition to her family.
Dr. Goldshmidt's focus is on medication management as well as supportive and emotionally focused therapy. She gives ample time in new patient appointments and has 30-minute follow up sessions. She is a believer of additional therapy and/or additional medical and procedural therapies, if needed, to provide the best care and outcomes to her patients.
Dr. Goldshmidt is a graduate of the American University of Antigua. She started her psychiatric career with residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center/Sheppard Pratt. She then moved up to New England to attend a Sleep Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She has since worked on an inpatient psychiatric unit in Lake Champlain NY. This was followed by an outpatient in both psychiatry and sleep medicine at St. Lukes University Health Network in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania.
In addition to general psychiatry, Dr. Goldshmidt is board certified in Sleep Medicine. She also completed training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation at Duke University. She did her undergraduate studies at Hunter College in New York City. She has vast experience with the whole spectrum of psychiatric disorders, she concentrates on anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and all sleep disorders.
