Dr. Smith has served California's health needs for over 30 years. He was the Chief of Medicine at both Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and Santa Teresita Hospital. He then went on to become the Chief of Critical Care at Methodist Hospital of Southern California and finally the Chief of Cardiology at Pasadena's own Huntington Memorial Hospital.
As a member of the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association and the American Heart Association, Dr. Milton Smith keeps up-to-date with the latest advances in Cardiology Care. In addition, he is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Angiology. Dr. Smith has co-authored several articles in medical journals and he has taught some of the best doctors in Southern California.
Dr. Smith's true love lies with his patients, and he opened his own practice so that he could spend more time with each patient and get to know them on a individual basis. He is accomplishing this feat every day.
In his off time, Dr. Smith is an avid reader and historian. In fact, Dr. Smith will read just about anything he can get his hands on. He also loves to travel, fish, and spend time with his wife, 4 sons and an ever expanding lot of grandchildren. He keeps his family close; his wife Sherry works as his R.N., his cousin Sue is the receptionist, his niece Erin helps keep the office moving smoothly, and his sister Cathy helps out with the paperwork.
