About Dr. Shaun Daneshrad
Dr. Daneshrad is a double board-certified physician in cardiology and internal medicine.
After earning his bachelor's degree in microbiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Daneshrad completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pennsylvania. He then pursued his internship and residency in internal medicine at Loma Linda University. Following this, he taught as a clinical instructor at Riverside General Hospital, where he provided detailed patient care across various internal medicine specialties, including gastroenterology, hematology, oncology, pulmonary medicine, and cardiology. It was during this time that he developed a passion for cardiology, motivating him to complete his fellowship in cardiology at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Loma Linda VA Hospital.
Dr. Daneshrad currently practices medicine in his hometown in the Los Angeles area. After ten years in solo practice, he joined a group practice with more than ten other cardiologists for five years. Missing the ability to offer personal care and build close connections with his patients, he returned to solo practice to provide more individualized attention.
Dr. Daneshrad does not refill narcotic or stimulant medications such as Adderall.

This was my first time using ZocDoc I had just moved to the area, not sure how I would find a primary care Dr to rely on. I wanted to find someone that was an expert in cardiology since I have cholesterol issues, and be a primary care Dr. Works like a charm he's very patient and wants to get to know you, has a clean building and staff. Excited for more times to go!

It took 4 days to get a the results from a rapid strep test. Additionally I was charged extra because they do not process that lab work in the office. Very disappointing to have this extra charge come as a total surprise.

Dr. Daneshrad came in from an emergency at the hospital and went right to work. He is excellent in terms of listening and asks a ton of questions. You never feel rushed. He makes you want to be a better patient. I do not have one complaint in all of my visits. If necessary, I would wait over an hour past my appointment time to see him. He looks at you when you are speaking to him. He checks things you never consider. Bonus: His front office is unlike any other, especially his main receptionist. She is sweet.

Dr. Daneshrad has been my cardiologist for approximately 14 years now and I could be more thankful and grateful to have such a sweet, thorough, caring, Amazing and the list goes on not to mention brilliant physician I've ever had! I would not trade him for all the money in the world, and I mean that honestly! I have had to call Dr. Daneshrad many times over the years throughout the night and he was always pleasant, sweet, with such a beautiful disposition, he definitely chose the right field of medicine in Cardiology because he has such an amazing heart! I love him as my cardiologist, he works in tandem with my other physicians which in my opinion are the Elite of the ELITE!!

Good and friendly staff. Doctor was busy but still got to me quicker than just about any other doctor's office I've been too. Screening was also the most extensive I've gotten anywhere. Would definitely recommend them.

I came into Dr. Daneshrad's office with an urgent last-minute appointment for a sore swollen throat. He quickly saw me and then helped me make a same day appointment with a great ENT specialist. If Dr. Daneshrad hadn't made the call to the specialist when he did, then I may have needed to visit the emergency room. I really appreciate how helpful he was, especially on Thanksgiving eve.

Great bedside manner, fun to talk to. Someone on his staff may have forgotten to call me with my test results, so I had to call in to get them after a while. Other than that, it was a great experience.

I really felt that this Dr. Daneshrad was very professional. He did not make me feel like I was being rushed. He listened to my concerns, and made also included the records that I had provided to him in his electronic chart. The staff was very friendly and treated me with respect. My sister found this provider online for me, and she was so impressed with what I told her, she is making an appointment herself.
