More about Dr. Milton Wong, MD, FACE
Dr. Wong a native of Hawaii, earned his B.A. in 1982 and MD in 1986 both from the University of Hawaii. He is the founder of Desert Endocrinology, the largest endocrine practice in Nevada, and has helped to set the standard of endocrine care in this community. Dr. Wong is a pioneer in the field of Osteoporosis therapy, having been the first to implement DEXA scanning to the Las Vegas Valley. Additionally, he has served as the director of the Nevada diabetes Center at Valley Hospital. He is a principal investigator for a number of clinical research protocols investigating new endocrine therapies. He serves on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, one of the world's premier endocrinology societies. Dr. Wong, his wife and two sons have lived in Southern Nevada since 1991.
