I scheduled this to get a referral for a psychiatrist. She said she would refer me to one in Dearborn, but when the video call ended, her notes only said I don't need a referral, and to call my insurance company for a recommendation. I told her I had suicidal thoughts, and she asked if I wanted to hurt OTHER PEOPLE. The only information she gave me was numbers for community centers in 5 counties I don't live in. Complete waste of time, and made me feel 100 times worse about trying to reach out to someone at all. Also, she never bothered to call me at our appointment time. I had to call her office twice to get the call started, and the first receptionist hung up on me after instructing me to download an app I already have because they entered my information wrong. Awful experience all around.
