I believe in treatment that combines psychopharmacology, psychotherapy and lifestyle modification. My experience with medication management has taught me to be considerate of patient's perception of medications. I am persistent in finding the best prescription for my patients, but cautious with dosages and combinations.
Dr. Khmurets completed her medical degree at Minsk State Medical School in Belarus and completed her residency in psychiatry at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington D.C. She also completed a two-year fellowship in psychotherapy at the Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians and a four-year training program in psychoanalysis at East European Institute of Psychoanalysis.
