Dr. Raj is a board-certified psychiatrist with a global perspective on mental health who uses a comprehensive approach to treat symptoms and improve function. Patients are empowered to make educated decisions based on research and personal risk/benefit evaluations. Treatment plans include a focus on lifestyle to enhance mental health. Dr. Raj earned a Bachelor's degree from Columbia University, completed medical school at Oregon Health & Science University, and finished residency training in psychiatry at George Washington University. Please note that the following services are not offered: * Formal ADHD evaluations. A valid ADHD testing report (from a licensed professional or computerized) must be provided before prescribing Schedule II controlled substances. * FMLA/disability, forensic, or work/school accommodation evaluations or paperwork. * Treatment of conditions inappropriate for a virtual clinic (e.g., eating disorders).

Dr. Sachdej works with his clients to gather a comprehensive history to better understand their life and lived experience to help formulate a treatment plan. In addition to educating his clients, Dr. Sachdej likes to engage in discussing the risks and benefits of medication management. Treatment also includes a focus on lifestyle to improve mental and physical health. Dr. Sachdej customizes treatment plans with regular follow-ups to help each person achieve their goals so they can become their most genuine and healthy selves.

I switched to Dr. Sachdej after having a bad experience with a couple of other psychiatrists. We had our first appointment today, and he was fantastic. A very attentive listener, he was present and compassionate, and throughout our appointment he asked thoughtful questions, paid close attention and made sure to address my concerns and anxieties.
