I hadnt had a full body medical check up & it was my 1st ever PAP smear test . Dr.Cernainu & her staff were very warm, helpful and took the time to walk me through every step and explained in detail regarding how my current health looks like. They also have an online portal to share results & maintain a medical history, which is very convenient. Would absolutely recommend her.

Dr. Cernaianu, board-certified in Obstetrics-Gynecology is also Board Certified in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine by the American Board of Anti-Aging /Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM – a certification program of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine) and Restorative Medicine by the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine (AARM).
She uses bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, applies holistic principles to every medical problem she treats and looks at every patient from the mind body spirit perspective, integrating their medical needs with their spiritual and mental wellness.
Dr. Cernaianu has been working in the Ventura County for Clinicas del Camino Real since 2003. She dedicated her life to helping others and there is no better place for her to do so than bringing great medical care to people who cannot afford it but who need it the most. She wanted to continue helping those in need, and while applying holistic principles and individualized health care is a major challenge for a physician working in a community care clinic, she chooses to do it every day.
She decided to open her own private practice so that the medicine she practices reflects her own values. She believes keeping people healthy is a priority, the key to healthy aging and to a life lived to its fullest potential, with vitality and purpose. Dr. Cernaianu’s priority is taking the time to know her patients, to understand them so that she can learn what their individual needs are and how they can be fulfilled.

I am super excited about working with her. I loved the ease I felt in the office. No attitude very down to earth. Dr. C is very direct, efficient, and has her hands in everything. She is involved from start to finish. This was my first visit and I absolutely dread the gyno, I now feel like I want to be more pro active in my female health. HERA already feels like a place I can do that. I'm excited about getting my exams and results. Dr C was personable and really thorough in the exam. She asked me questions I've never been asked before and they were relevant. I'm looking forward to getting all my test results and my nex visit.

Dr. C's approach is so refreshing because she takes the time to really listen and investigate what is happening in your body and discusses all options to address it. Whether that be the natural approach or a more western medicine approach. There are so few doctors that incorporate both styles of medicine well. She actually takes the time to find out what is happening in every aspect of your health and well-being and you feel "heard" and not rushed through, as in so many cases with doctors today. I purposefully searched ZocDoc for a doctor who was exactly as I just described and she delivers. AND she takes my insurance. That's like winning the lottery!

She is very thorough, she explains herself, and what her thoughts are about your blood tests (which she really believes in) and then approaches treatment with all natural products. Not a prescription pusher which is exactly what I was looking for. I've been a patient here for a couple of years and have recommended others to see Dr. C. I have 2 complaints. One is that the doctor runs late every time I see her. Even after me calling today and being told she was running 20 minutes late, I waited an additional 30 minutes. However, when Dr. Cernaianu sees you, she is very thorough with your visit. She happily addresses all of your concerns and answers all of your questions. My second complaint is the front desk. The girls working there are extremely nice but somewhat unorganized. It takes an unusually long time to check out each visit.

I really like not feeling less than smart when having to ask Doctors what the words they're using mean every 10 seconds. The office could use more help. When I went in I had to wait about 15 minutes, before I was given forms to fill out. After filling out the forms, I still had to wait another half hour , before seeing the doctor. Also, they don't have a bathroom, in the office. We have to walk outside, and down a hall, and they give you, a key, to open the bathroom door. Also, if you need to leave a urine sample, this is really inconvenient. Also, the woman who is the receptionist, is also the nurse. To keep the office running smoother, they need more help.
