Let me put it this way…I would still want to get to know her even if she wasn’t my doctor. The level of kindness..patience..friendliness..appropriate humor and overall expertise was the best out of ANY doctor I’ve ever had. She was thorough, tactful and intentional with every visit. I never wait more than 5 minutes and her staff were just as professional. I was always asked about my comfort and my concerns. I was explained why things were happening, what it’s for and when the results would be in for extra tests I needed. I was calm the entire time despite imaginable physical discomforts. Mitasha and her staff were worth the extra writing and time for this review. You won’t regret choosing this office.

Dr. Sohan welcomes Mitasha Joseph-Sohan, NP, MPA, CCRP, to his OB/GYN practice. Mitasha brings over 19 years of experience in Women's Health. She has worked as a nurse in Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum, as well as a Research Nurse in Reproductive Endocrinology. She is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Clinical Research Professional, with a strong belief that evidence-based practice improves medical outcomes. Mitasha completed her Bachelor of Nursing at New York University and earned her Master's in Women's Health Nursing from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. She is known for making her patients feel comfortable and creating a space where they can actively participate in their care, understanding that better outcomes result when patients play an active role. Dr. Sohan is confident that Mitasha will bring the female touch his office needs. Please join us in welcoming Mitasha to the practice.
