I've never gone through the process of filing for FMLA before. The office staff was very nice. Dr. Sherpa was kind, knowledgeable, and professional, but made me feel like my back pain was insignificant and didn't warrant FMLA. There was some skeptical intonation and side eyes in my second visit. She said a lot of people experience back pain and not everyone gets FMLA. Of course, that's a given.
3 months later and the pain persists and is always there in the background. It's now been 10 months since the pain started. I almost never visit the doctor for anything. Dr. Sherpa didn't make my concerns feel validated. I now know this is chronic pain.
Also, despite being in-network, I got hit with a " New patient office or other outpatient visit" fee in my first visit and a "Established patient office or other outpatient" fee in my second visit.

One visit.
Very caring and open-minded & educated on vitamins plus Ayurvedic medicine which is what I was seeking. Naturopathic doctors are hard to find in New York City and good ones at that.
As a senior-citizen, I hope I'm alive to see her career blossom. She rocks!

They contacted me saying their platform was not connected to Zocdoc and they had another patient at the time of my appointment finally they figured out so I drove all the way there just to realize they didn’t accept my insurance what a waste of my time so unprofessional I am so disappointed!
