Location is good.. but I waited over two hours to be seen, when I asked what’s taking so long I was told everyone is seeing different doctors and I should be up shortly which was a next 30 mins.

Dr. Efros graduated New York Medical College in 1982 with honors and was elected to the Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his Urology residency at New York Medical College in 1992. He is board certified in Urology. In 1992, he joined UroCare Associates, a division of Integrated Medical Professionals. He is one of the founding members of Integrated Medical Professionals. Dr. Efros is an attending physician at Winthrop University Hospital.
Dr. Efros has vast experience in all areas of Urology, such as; erectile dysfunction, incontinence, stone disease, and prostate disease and enlargement (BPH). He has expertise in minimally invasive procedures for various Urologic conditions. Dr. Efros is well experienced in major Urologic oncologic surgeries for malignancies of the prostate, kidney, and bladder and was one of the first Urologists in the region to become trained and perform cryoablation of the prostate.
Dr. Efros has been a principal investigator in well over 100 clinical trials and is a nationally recognized clinical trials researcher and leader in this field. This experience and exposure affords Dr. Efros the ability to remain on the cutting edge of technology, new medical therapy, and product development, for a multitude of Urologic conditions. As a consequence, many patients have access to novel therapies not yet available elsewhere.

He could care less. You’re another number. He asked me to take tests and afterwards had no answers for any of the results. Told me to consult with my endocrinologist. Really? He didn’t want to answer any questions. Was more interested in watching Jimmy Fallon on his laptop in his office. It’s such a waste of my time that I even have to write this review.

Great doctor but I am highly considering not seeing him again for the fact that I haven’t received my prescription yet from my appointment. I’ve now called 5 times and get the response “ your chart isn’t done yet so he hasn’t sent in the prescription ”. I have worked for physicians for 10 years now and have never seen a doctor not complete a chart days after a visit, that’s bad patient practice. Luckily my prescription isn’t something my life depended or I would be dead by now.

Dr. Effros is very understanding and calming. I suffer with a lot of anxiety and he took the time to sit with me and explain the reasons I did not have to be anxious. His bedside manner is exactly what I need and I would recommend him to anyone with anxiety who needs a logical and empathetic ear.

The Doctor was attentive and professional. The wait time was unacceptable. I waited for over an hour without being informed of the delay. This is unacceptable the employee should have informed me of the delay.

Most of the wait time was filling out paperwork. Otherwise, we were helped right away. Dr. Efros was very kind and informative.

Arrived and spent 15 minutes filling out paperwork. Within 15 minutes saw the doctor and 10 minutes later I was out. My prescriptions were sent directly to my local pharmacist for pickup.
I would highly recommend Dr. Mitchell Efros. He is very pleasant
and makes you feel comfortable during your examination.
