Dr. Tariq is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Management. He has been in practice for more than 14 years and has extensive knowledge and experience in managing chronic pain. He has special interest in intrathecal drug therapy with implanted morphine pumps to manage chronic pain and spasticity. Dr. Tariq is consulted by many local spine surgeons and physicians to assist in the management of complex and challenging patients.
Dr. Mohammad Tariq, one of the leading Pain Specialists in Dallas, completed his internship in internal medicine at St. Francis Hospital in New Jersey in 1992. After his internship, he completed training in anesthesiology and pain management at Texas Tech University in El Paso, Texas, from 1992 through 1995. From 1995 through 1996, he completed his fellowship training at Texas Tech University’s Pain Center in Lubbock, Texas, a renowned pain training program in the United States.
