Dr. Barazi graduated with highest honors from Marshall University College of Science where he received his Bachelor of Science. He continued his academic qualifications at Marshall University School of Medicine where he was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree. His post-doctoral training has included an internship in general surgery at Marshall University School of Medicine and a residency in ophthalmology at George Washington University where he also served as Chief Resident. It was at the Retinal Group of Washington where he completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery.
Dr. Barazi is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. He is affiliated with Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University Hospital, Inova Fairfax Hospital, Silver Spring Ophthalmology, Friendship Surgery Center, Children’s National Hospital, and Virginia Hospital Center. The doctor explained what he found very well. He also explained the glaucoma test to me. He was very nice and explained things in detail so that I would understand.

Dr Barazi was very professional and explained my exam and condition to me. He has a wonderful bedside manner. My only complaint was the wait time in the office. I was in the office for 3 hours and with the technician/physician about 45 mins of that total time.
