I appreciated that there was no wait time. I was able to see Dr. Bogal at my appointment time. As this was a follow up appointment, I also appreciated that Dr. Bogal had read my file prior to entering the exam room and was able to speak to my needs right away. She offered many options in a kind and respectful manner. You can tell that she cares for each one of her patients as unique individuals and wants to do everything possible to help. I highly recommend Dr. Bogal.

Monika S. Bogal MD attended medical school at the State University of New York at Syracuse, where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. She was an intern and resident in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. She completed a Cardiovascular disease fellowship at Mount Sinai, where she acquired experience in stress testing, echocardiography, and general clinical cardiology. Subsequently, she went on to subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Bogal specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease. She also specializes in the treatment of valvular heart disease and heart disease in women. She treats patients with high cholesterol, hypertension, arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, and congenital heart disease.
She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of invasive cardiology.

She seem to be in a rush as I was talking to her. She heard what I had to say but than referred to me to get test done and from there, she will meet with me again to talk about the results. But as I was talking to her, she kept saying, yea yea, etc. It could be cultural differences but usually I take that as someone is brushing me off.

Very thorough. Office staff was professional and friendly. Only downside was wait time in the patient room was frustrating as I needed to be back to work. Went in two days in a row for different reasons and both times the wait was 30 minutes plus.

Dr. Bogal has a great bedside manner. She is very friendly and is well versed on all matters regarding my wife's heart condition. We always enjoy our interactions with her and friendly staff that works at her office... We highly recommend her!

My wife recently moved into the area, and she had to look for a cardiologist closer to our home. We had read great things about her before hand,and decided to pay her a visit. We absolutely loved her!
She is kind, very professional, and best of she found the time to sit down with both myself and my wife to explain each procedure, as well as the risks and benefits associated with each of current medications. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent cardiologist in the Upper East side of NY... I should also mention that her office staff was very friendly.
