Morgann Harney was born in Nashville, TN but grew up in Murfreesboro, TN. She played basketball throughout school and developed an interest in medicine after undergoing two knee surgeries within the same year. Morgann received an academic scholarship to attend Middle Tennessee State University where she graduated with an Athletic Training degree. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked for two years as a certified athletic trainer in both the high school and outpatient physical therapy settings. Morgann returned to Nashville and attended Trevecca Nazarene University, where she earned a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant studies. When Morgann’s not working, she enjoys reading, yoga, and weight lifting.
